Human dignity can be described as the quality of being worthy of respect and esteem. TRRC was a very welcoming and comfortable environment for both volunteers and patients to come to. The staff was very friendly and helpful with directions, information, guidance, and most of all support for the patient riders. Pretty much everyone that receives therapy treatment at TRRC has some kind of disability, whether it be learning, social, or anything else. There was always a positive vibe around the place and everyones attitude was positive, despite how frustrating it could be sometimes to get a patient to follow a command or instruction.
The overall goal of TRRC is to be a pleasant, comfortable, and helpful for all of its patients. Some patients conditions are more extreme than others. It's really nice to see how delighted they are to be there receiving their treatment. They always have a smile on their faces and enjoy the company from the therapists and other riders. There is a high level of respect as well and everybody is treated the same. Self confidence is a major part of the whole TRRC experience.
